Simultaneous Operations Management Company is one of SIMOPS group of companies which consists of four companies. Simultaneous Operations Engineering Consultancy Company, Petroleum Services Company, Renewable Energy Company, and SIMOPS Management & training.

VII.      Environmental Management Policy

SIMOPS is committed for Natural Capital Preservation

SIMOPS Consultancy Company founders, staff, and affiliates are sharing the same mindset to preserve natural capital and protect ecosystems.

This Environmental Management Policy formalizes our commitment to supporting the principles of environmental sustainability and recognizes that a sustainable environment is central to our lives and our work activities.

The aim of our Environmental Management Policy is to:

 

  • Implement environmental actions within the company
  • ​Monitor the environmental actions and improvements internally
  • Communicate environmental protection initiatives internally and externally.
  • Propose to clients providing our support to adopt a comprehensive smart environmental monitoring system that will highly contribute to protecting ecosystems and preserve natural capital as well as marine ecology in the region.

Scope

This policy and associated procedures apply to all directors, staff and affiliate companies’ employees who are involved in our projects.  It also considers our consultancy services we provide for clients pertaining to their current and future projects.

 

Policy

SIMOPS respects its relationship with the natural environment and its ecosystems. We acknowledge the adverse impacts that human activity can impose and take actions to prevent degradation of those natural systems.

We commit to the following principles and practices:

  • Complying with relevant International and local environmental guidelines, practices, regulations and industry-specific legislation.
  • Giving due care to environmental protection and as applicable when providing our services to clients.
  • Reducing the consumption of main resources in daily operations, including water, paper and energy.
  • Reduction of carbon dioxide footprint of the company and adopt green energy sources.
  • Maximizing the recycling of resources and apply 4R principle in waste management.
  • Committing to the principles of preventing pollution to the environment and continual improvement.
  • Where possible, encouraging stakeholders to meet high standards of environmental performance.
  • Communicating this policy to all employees, partners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Reviewing this policy periodically and revise as required.

This Environmental Management Policy is the responsibility of the Management of SIMOPS.  It is issued on 01/05/2022

 

VIII.    Quality Assurance Policy

 

SIMOPS was established in 2022 to provide engineering consultancy services, petroleum engineering support, PMO support, technical support, and training and development services to oil and gas industry in addition to other various industries.

 

Quality is important to our business because we value our customers as well as all other stakeholders. We strive to provide our customers with services which meet and exceed their expectations.

We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for continuously measuring and improving quality performance within the company and during any type of business activities we carry out.

We have the following policies and procedures in place to support us in our quality goals and align with our quality system:

 

  • Regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback
  • A strict corrective and preventative action procedure
  • Embedding quality provisions on contractual agreements we undertake with contractors and suppliers
  • Selection and performance monitoring of the entire supply chain
  • Continuous training and development of employees
  • Regular quality audits of our internal processes
  • Measurable quality objectives which reflect our business aims
  • Management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints
  • Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are held in a Quality Manual which is made available to all employees.

 

Management has ultimate responsibility for Quality, but we ensure all employees understand their responsibilities within their own areas of work to help ensure that Quality is embedded within the whole company.

SIMOPS takes the safety and welfare of our staff and anyone engaged by, or working with us very seriously.

Our Health and Safety Policy plays an important role in setting and making clear the standards of health and safety that we apply in our business.

This policy is not part of any employment or any other contract. We at SIMOPS, may amend this policy from time to time based on the needs and practices of our business.

 

 

Policy details

 

All staff, contractors and workers and other persons affected by the work we undertake are covered SIMOPS health and safety policy.

 

Our policy is to:

 

  1. understand the health and safety risks arising from our work activities
  2. ensure adequate control of those health and safety risks
  3. consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety
  4. provide the necessary information, instruction and supervision for employees
  5. ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training
  6. prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill-health
  7. maintain safe and healthy working conditions
  8. review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals
